About the Founder

Dr. Ashley Dennard, Ph.D. (she/her) is a community psychologist and the founder of Undone. She brings over a decade of experience working at the intersection of mental health, systems change, and organizational strategy.

Ashley partners with organizations navigating complexity, misalignment, or moments where the stakes are high, and the usual approaches are no longer enough. Her work is grounded in cultural insight, rigorous evaluation, and a clear commitment to addressing the gaps between stated values and actual practice.

Based in the Chicagoland area, Ashley’s approach is shaped by lived experience, academic training, and years of working alongside communities most impacted by systemic inequities. This foundation informs how she engages across sectors, from health to technology to policy, always centering the real-world impact of decisions on people and systems.

She founded Undone. to move beyond surface-level solutions and support deeper, more accountable transformation. Through this work, Ashley helps organizations see what is often overlooked, make intentional decisions about what needs to change, and build strategies that are designed to hold over time.

Her leadership is defined by precision, care, and a willingness to name what others avoid, creating the conditions for work that is both honest and effective.
